He murdered his former girlfriend with his bare hands, and yet he just had his conviction vacated all because some stupid breathy npr voice lady threw plausible doubt at the wall for 14 straight hours, and Marilyn Mosby needed a win with the abolitionist ngo scenesters before she left Baltimore prosecutors office and began working with the NGO crowd again.

• I have a theory about true crime and it’s unyielding appeal among the cat lady crowd, I think criminal law is the one series of boundaries that this liquid society hasn’t completely obliterated, which is precisely why the innocence project and “therapeutic jurisprudence” and all manner of utopian leftoid deconstructionist nonsense is mobilised to undermine it.
